Several days ago I have published a new eReading app for technical eBooks called "eCarrel" currently selling all the eBooks from O'Reilly including quite a few books very relevant to Android programming.
https://market.android.com/details?id=com.ambrosoft.searchlib Why another eBook reader? Well this one explores eReader's value added. It is a social eReader, has great full text search, with a lot of new features in the pipeline; some commented out in order to ship sooner... The idea is that if you buy an (O'Reilly) eBook on eCarrel (rather than Kindle or Nook) you will get more than just a bunch of pages to flip through. Problem is, unless you specifically search for "eCarrel" and so you know the name somehow, searches for "ebook reader" "book reader" "ebook" etc. will not show you that eCarrel exists at all :-( On the funny side, searches like this also fail to find "Google Books" and "Kindle"! Not even a very popular Aldiko shows up. I had to put the app in a broad category "Books & Reference." This means that in addition to eBook readers (and there's not a whole lot of them) you will find the whole "long tail" of all sorts of book/reference related apps as well as individual books wrapped up as apps but you will not see eBook readers as a group.
