There are a LOT more ad companies than just AdMob. I don't know what CPC
rates are averaging these days, but eCPMs of $3 and more are advertised
by several. Just the set supported by AdWhirl should give you a huge
variety of eCPMs, and which one is the best changes over time, or so I hear.

But you do need to get the app in front of a lot of people for ad
support to make sense. For an app that's only gotten 16 clicks, I
wouldn't imagine that it's going to make enough money to be worthwhile
with ad support no matter what.
