i checked out "-b froyo" and tried to compile it on ubuntu 11.04.
after over 8 hours, it hanged.
i restarted, then ubuntu complained that packages are broken, tried to fix
them, ended up with "could not".

i installed ubuntu from scratch and repeated the procedure.
exactly the same result.

i suspect that i need ALL packages on ubuntu to be of the date when froyo
was released.
unfortunately, there's no such a feature in ubuntu's package manager to set
them all to a certain date.

am i missing something / is there a way to solve this?
