I've always been of the opinion that the worst-offending rollout schedules (2.0, 2.1 and 3.0, IMHO) were probably dictated by hardware release dates coming from partners. I'm looking at you, Motorola. And I fully recognize that there's nothing that anyone who posts to this group can do about that. Still, it'd be nice if those in management (who *could* do something) would recognize that this hurts the whole ecosystem - devs, apps, customers, and ultimately Google and the hardware partners too.
