I don't - I think they should have not done the deal.

After all, what good is 101,491 customers if you are not going to make
any revenue from them and only get recurring expenses.

But I don't think they knew that the number of free copies would be
101,491 without trying it. Maybe they could accommodate 1000. So we
can at least benefit from their publishing their mistake, and if you
want to do the free app thing at Amazon, plan on something like
101,491.

And for those considering Amazon, this free app a day stuff is a
special deal with a separate agreement. Without that, they still owe
you a minimum of 25% list price if they decide to discount.
