I'm in the process of finishing up my tablet version and keep getting these IllegalStateExceptions when running monkey. Thing is this the same code that has been in the app for over a year and NO there is no updating outside of the UI thread. Of course I've searched through all the reports of these as well as posted a thread on the developer group for whatever good that does. And I cannot replicate the crash either on the emulator nor on my tablet. The one case is a ListView with Calendar Adapter but there is no ListView with a Calendar Adapter in my code. I didn't know one could even have such at thing.

And then there is a Error report of one on another app that has been out for a year. This is on the NumberPicker or my implementation which is the exact same code from the Android source since we didn't get a NumberPicker until 3.0 (after complaining enough of it's absence). At that rate the number picker used in DatePicker or TimePicker from the API might even do the same thing.

So what I'm wondering is why these are suddenly showing up? Is it only showing up when running on 3.0+? Maybe it is a monkey bug. At this point I'm ready to release anyway betting no user will see it crash. Maybe Xavier will show up and shed some light. Seems like there are a number of questions on StackOverflow and sometimes the usual solutions aren't working for folks.
