My router was complaining about ip spoofing when my android phone is
connected to it.
I downloaded norton utilities and on their system page I see IP
address of 28.197.54.*for rmnet0.

When I go to say check my ip on the web via checkmyip.com, I am shown
66.87.20.*. This address is owned by Sprint, while the first one is
owned by DOD. Sprint ip address makes sense to me, what is rmnet0 used
for?

As soon as the phone is connected to wireless network, the first thing
it seems to do is go to I think port 5228 on one of the google
addresses, my router denies it with IP spoofing error message.
However, if I launch market place app, I do not have issues connecting
to it or installing apps from it. This means that there is some other
process that keeps going to market place to check may be for any
updates.

Does anyone know what might be going on? I just got the phone and I'm
quiet new to android system. I doubt that I downloaded compromied app,
but it may be possible. Sould I reset the phone to factory default?
Does anyone else who has VirginMobile(sprint) phone have similar
expirience. Android version is 2.2.1.
