Hi David/Kevin, Thanks for your comments.I don't know whether you have seen this or not but there is this blog <http://www.jamesward.com/2011/05/11/extending-air-for-android/> which has integrated the flex (only .swf file made in the Flash Builder )with the android application and insist on passing the values from android to .swf via socket calls.He doesnt insist much on the implementation but I am still trying this.The basic question is wether mxml can take the values from the android at run time and if yes how cam both the compilers (one for mxml - mxmlc.exe) and javac(for android) can finally make the apk which has the capability to excahnge the values .or another way is to pass the values directly to the .swf file.
