Hi Brandon Newsome! I'm answering your msg dated 02:08 PM 9/22/2011:
Has anyone seen the new update? It appears to be largely cosmetic but at least it sheds a little light on the statistics issue as something in the Dev console usually breaks before an update.

I am not a developer, but I upgraded to it over a month ago when someone posted a link to the install file. Unfortunately that version (which I don't know yet is the same one being rolled out now) was quite buggy. It would vary wildly when it counted my installed apps, for just one example, sometimes saying I had 40 or so apps, other times 100, and I don't think it ever hit the correct number (120+/-). Then it would show random apps as being not installed, when in fact they were working just fine. Another bug I'd had in the current version whereby an app I'd long ago uninstalled still shows up in My Apps , yet its status is "free". I did contact the Market forum, and actually got a response from one of the Google folks responsible for it. The same day, believe it or not :) In a nutshell, they had me uninstall the update and go back to the current version, there apparently was no fix for the problems. The rep also said that it had been rolling out VERY slowly, approximately 1% of users per day.

The best thing about it, tho, for me anyway, was that the apps are now in alphabetic order, and there was a separate paragraph for "What's new in this version" instead of it being buried in the description. On the down side, tho, if you don't like the app and want/need to give a rating or comment, be sure to do that before you uninstall, 'cause it no longer lets you do that if you haven't got it installed. Not an entirely bad thing, I guess, but still.

Other than the bugs, I did like the UI rather well, compared to the current version, so hopefully they've fixed the bugs I (and others) reported. This is the version I had, FWIW:

Market: 3.0.27
Market Updater: 1.0
Market Feedback Agent: 2.3.3
