Hi Guys, I hope you can help me with understanding NDEFMessage for NFC in android.
I dont have a tag yet, but I am trying to understand the whole stuff till im able to test it :) I have some questions about the android.nfc package and the Compatibility to ISO14443 and MifareUltralight. 1. Is the TagPolling (Request, Select,...) (14443A) done automatically, what if I want to communicate with a specific tag with a specific UID, if there are more tags in range of the phone/ NFCdevice? 2. I assume, android reads out the NDEFmessage automatically (make proper READ and WRITE Commands), if i tell it to do with the right code? 3. Is it possible to access specific memoryblocks in MifareUltralight Tags, for example to read out the UID with a READ command @ Adress 0 or to read out a part from the NDEF message, without doing the NDEFdetection procedure before. Is it possible to do this things with writePage and readPages of android.nfc.tech.MifareUltralight? Are the mentioned "pages" the blocknumbers in the NFC memory structure?
