Until the recent switch from kernel.org to source.android.com, the AOSP was easily browse-able online, without having to download the entire source tree. Can we get this functionality back, please? It was really useful for quickly looking up how something works / why something crashes.
Also, I tried using Google code search, but either its index is out of date, or it doesn't index the new repo at all (I think it needs authentication?). For example, I tried searching for "file:android/widget/PopupMenu.java" but it yields no results<http://codesearch.google.com/codesearch#search/&q=file:android/widget/PopupMenu.java&type=cs>. However, the file should be there<http://developer.android.com/reference/android/widget/PopupMenu.html> . -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Android Discuss" group.
