If you look at the EULA that Sony had before and after the rootkit was
discovered installing from music CD's. You'll know that the change they
made to make installing said rootkit legal in California was completely
inconceivable even when you knew the reason.

In other words steam are obviously being good by actually telling you
in plain english.

Length and clarity of EULA, privacy policies etc.. is THE biggest
problem with closed source software and websites.

If it's short and clear then good on ya. If they reset their device or
fiddle for ages because they don't know whats wrong then thats just "out
of order"!

I presume it says they are blacklisted when they run it but personally I
wouldn't play this game, considering how easy it is to DOS servers.
of course you would have to be a nob to get wound up that much over an
app though.
