Thank You! Justin, the links are very helpful, I am beginning to learn to develop for Android so I didn't know where to look. It sounds like MODIFY_PHONE_STATE is not available and TelephonyService will not be part of the public Android SDK anytime soon, however the links seem to have a work-around way to handle phone calls.
