Hi All,
I would like to know if there is any means to control display
of newly attached Monitor/TV screens connected to Android phone (Such
as Motorola Droid X) via HDMI cable.
I know android as such displays the contents of Phone on to the
connected screens via HDMI. But my idea is, since the TV/computer
Monitor screen is large, I would like to inflate a different layout
(Ex: 'layout-xhdpi') instead of normal 'layout' shown on Phone.
So is there any detection & control APIs for TV-out screens? Can
it be done just with an application / service? or do I need changes in
framework/driver level as well. Please share information.
