Hi, I'm able to compile Android applications very quickly without dependencies. Once I add Guava and other useful libraries the build process gets noticeably slower. I posted a question on http://stackoverflow.com/questions/10483522/android-use-precompiled-libraries that might be relevant for discussion:
Seeing as these libraries do not change between compilations, is it possible for the build process to cache the JAR -> DEX output and simply reuse it for the libraries? I expect this will speed up the compilation process in a significant manner. Thanks, Gili -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Android Discuss" group.
