OK, two too many messages (in my mail) - so what value was in 4.0.4, what was in 4.1(.1?) and what is in the current developement branch (back to how it was in 4.0?). I'm confused as to why introduce such limitation in the first place -- this won't help if your phone was hijacked and someone is texting premium numbers nor if application do that; also - there should be a permanent "grant permission" to the trusted applications -- wouldn't that make sense? Right now I end up with broken conversation because while typing the dialog was discarded thus message in question wasn't sent....
