The last week or two I've noticed that when I bring up a spreadsheet
file in Google Drive in my browser (Dolphin), it won't let me edit
the file. I can highlight a cell, but when I try to add a number at
the top, it highlights briefly but doesn't bring up my keyboard (I
use Graffiti Pro but it happens with the stock input method too). It
also shows a message about "Trying to reach Google". The same file(s)
work just fine on my laptop, and the phone can get to google or any
other place I like. I also have Docs to Go Pro on the phone, and it
will let me edit the file, but not SAVE it, which tells me this is
the same problem.
I should also note that in early September I started having a
problem in D2G where it threw a weird error when I tried to edit a
spreadsheet (although word files were fine). I contacted Dataviz and
they replied "This is an issue with the Google Docs server that our
engineers are aware of and currently working to fix." Supposedly they
were working on a fix, but about a month later I happened to try it
one more time and D2G was then working fine. Few weeks after that,
this new problem surfaced, but we never saw a new version of D2G.
Anyone else experiencing this or have a solution?
