Hi Tim, Interesting. I would include some info in the description as to why the auth would be required, along with a demo video and such showing what the app does and explain in more detail why it would ask for those permissions. I would also assume if my app were to do something other than what it says with gmail credentials or any other creds from account manager, it would get down rated, possibly removed from the market and would do me no good to abuse those permissions. But you're right, this being a developer forum it may be less helpful.. my purpose of posting here was to ask other developers that have written apps that require such permissions.. if they have any feedback on how end users feel about authorizing their apps to use said permissions, especially if the app description, video, etc explain well enough why they are required and with them how beneficial the app may be for them.
