I do believe there is increase around the holidays because of new devices, and people with new devices are often most hungry for apps. For me, I have never seen a doubling. The season is tempered by the fact that winter tends to cut back on some but not all of the activities people would do with my app. So it washes out for me. I certainly hope that what I am sure are stupendous marketing efforts on your part are paying off, though. Let me know which ones they were so I can try them too.
