I was just trying to add a shortcut (not a widget) to my husband's GS3 and was surprised to see there wasn't an option for that as there had been on our old HTC Evo 4Gs. I use GO launcher but his is all stock, and I have both "shortcut" and "GO shortcut", but he has none that I can see.
Is this really gone from 4.1.1?
