I terms of durability, I'd say the android connectors (standard) are much
better. Apple charges too much for a proprietary configuration that is
limited in use among products and forces others to conform. I prefer
adaptability and honestly, I went through several apple chargers for iPhone
and iPad (wire to port freys) whereas I have all the original adapters and
chargers for both my asus transformer tf300 and lg optimus g without a
single sign of trouble.

Bottom line - android. If for nothing more than the ability to use it on
anything and the low cost of replacement vs apple.
