It is costing me time, money, and hassles with the IRS. Google gave themselves 16 days to make the deposit. My accounting team can't figure out why they can't have the report done by then.
The IRS sent me a stack of questions because, in 2011, what Google reported does not match what I reported. Even accounting for the 30% we never get, The thing that IMHO Google is really stretching is that each individual developer is a retailer, and that they are not. On the other side of the extreme, Amazon gives you a lump sum labelled "royalties" with no fancy report and no fancy accounting needed and no sales tax reporting to multiple states. Congress may soon mandate that Android developers file sales taxes in all 50 states. Nathan -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Android Discuss" group.
