It *does *seem to operate at "Wifi Speeds". In other words, it is not as fast as a *USB OTG connector with an Ethernet dongle plugged into it*.
I just couldn't get the *USB OTG connector with an Ethernet dongle plugged into it* working on the Galaxy S3. Thanks.
