I noticed the missing ratings, but it was a benefit for me (my average rating went up).
I am used to my stats changing in the Play Market - it seems like this sort of thing happens all the time. Accurate ratings and reviews is a good thing, so for the most part, I think I want to see the ratings curated and fixed.
