*Role : Sr. Java Developer Location : Philadelphia, PA* *Duration : 12+ Months (Extendable for long term) Interview : Phone then face to face * * USC, GC, EAD-GC, TN Only* * They must be within 2-3 hour’s commute currently to Philadelphia* as they will need to go for a face to face. *Job Responsibilities* - Codes software applications to adhere to designs supporting internal business requirements or external customers. - Standardizes the quality assurance procedure for software. - Oversees testing and develops fixes. - May require a bachelor's degree in a related area and at least 5years of experience in the field or in a related area. - Has knowledge of standard concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field. - Relies on limited experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. - Performs a variety of tasks. Works under general supervision. A certain degree of creativity and latitude required. - Typically reports to a project leader or manager. - We are looking for a Sr. Java Developer for this high profile project. - They will be joining a team of Sr. Developers who will be developing Java with Rest API's utilizing the *Spring framework*. - Distributed processing experience with *Storm, Spark or NiFi* . - *Big Data experience with Hbase, Cassandra or Dynamo.* *Job Requirement* - 10+ years of Java development experience is required. - *REST API experience is required* - Experience developing applications using *Tomcat, Spring, Jersey, HaProxy, Maven, Nexus, Jenkins, JUnit, Cloud* - Understanding of relevant software development tools including version control, build processes, debuggers, and test frameworks. - Ability to work independently with limited supervision - Experience with Tomcat, Soap, JUnit, Splunk, Swagger, Cloud.
