*Role : QA Manual Tester * *Location : Chicago, IL * *Duration : 6+ Months * Interview : Phone then Face to Face Job Description · This SOW represents the request to provide a skilled QA resource as a part of client’s team to deliver on the eCommerce portfolio. · Client follows Agile Values and Principles and uses the Scrum framework for development and support activities. · Work is developed through business stories which are translated into design and development activities in 2-week time periods – a package referred to as a sprint. · Resource partner will focus on Quality Assurance for the sprints. Job Responsibilities · Complete Design and Development of Functional and Regression test cases that will deliver new features to the gcom site, as requested by client. · Submit defects, work with the business analysts and developers on a resolution and validate resolved issues. · Work with other 3rd Party to Design, Develop and fully test development code · Knowledge transfer back to team. Engagement Deliverables · Knowledge Transfer (e.g. documentation, training) · Consultant will log his/her hours worked into client’s time reporting system. · Test Cases · Regression Test Cases · Break/Fix: defects, resolution and retest documents. Roles and Responsibilities · Consultant(s) is responsible for following client’s confidentiality guidelines. · Works on understanding requirements from the business; writes and executes functional and regression test cases; automates regression test cases; validates deployments to all environments. · Attends daily Scrum and all Agile ceremonies. · Translation of user stories into test cases which will ultimately produce production ready code. · Participate in cross team test case reviews · 5+ Years of eCommerce Quality Assurance Experience · Strong cross-functional team player, ability to work effectively with client Developers and Business Analysts. · Working knowledge of Agile values and principles and Scrum framework is a plus.
