Experience with ElasticSearch , Big Data, Hadoop is must have *Position: **BigData (Hadoop) Engineer ? Elasticsearch* *Position Type: Contract* *Location: * *Eden Prairie, MN* *Primary Responsibilities* Drive systems health and stability to ensure applications and data available to the business per agreed service levels and business outcomes. Utilize outstanding analytical and diagnostic skills when dealing with complex issues; Recover production issues timely and implement problem fixes to mitigate / avoid business impact. Day-to-day monitoring and troubleshooting of data load jobs/processes, problems and performance issues in our Big Data and Elastic search clusters. Resolve HPSM Tickets (Incidents, Problems, and Service Requests) and join war-room conference calls actively. Actively manage the Elastic search platform/application configuration to continue drive performance tuning of the eco-system. Establish a comprehensive monitoring/ system health dashboard to drive proactive identification and resolution of Elastic search system capacity constraints and/or issues before it impacts the business; Implement data driven Elastic search cluster sizing. Drive operational readiness of applications prior to them being deployed to production. Build system resiliency through auto-detection and auto-correction capabilities Work closely with SA/SME’s/other teams to discuss & understand issues and to provide solutions to meet business and technical requirements. Provide appropriate status updates and track project assignments. Ability to clearly and concisely document procedures and processes *Required Qualifications:* 4+ years of experience building, deploying and managing scalable Elasticsearch platforms and applications. 4+ years of experience with indexing, searching, and analytics over large data sets in the Elasticsearch platform Experience in building dashboards in Kabana and Marvel Experience in Java RESTful API integration with Elasticsearch and in layer 7 security gateway and API based service integration *Preferred Experience:* Experience in Java, SQOOP, Map Reduce, PIG scripts / processes, HIVE, Zookeeper and Spark Service stack monitoring of platform/application availability, performance, and volumes leveraging: Splunk and DynaTrace Experience in supporting complex production systems Providing 24x7 on - call support Support of Priority1 Critical Business Applications Active incident management and reporting Excellent Analytical and troubleshooting Skills and experience Experience working in DevOps structured organizations Thanks *Regards,* *Sharad* [email protected] -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Android Discuss" group.
