ROLE: Java Developer
RESPONSIBILITIES
An exciting and innovative mobile app development project in Michigan
is looking for developers with the following requirements. Project will
work on integrating mobile applications and the internet of things with
cars. Will be using cutting edge technology, such as microservices
architecture, Pivotal Cloud Foundry, and the latest Spring frameworks.
REQUIRED SKILLS
Work location in Dearborn, MI
5 years programming experience
Strong knowledge of Java
Must possess a deep understanding of object-oriented design, design
patterns, software refactoring, and general programming skills
Eagerness to learn new tools and development platforms.
Absolutely mandatory: a very high standard for soft skills around
communication, teamwork, and adaptability, including:
Empathy
Ability to collaborate and communicate effectively
Inquisitiveness
Ability to quickly internalize new information, techniques, and skills
Ability to work collaboratively in a pair-programming and test-driven
development environment
Must be able to conversationally articulate and discuss various design
approaches, ideas, and concerns, and do so with ease
PREFERRED – NICE TO HAVE
Prior pair programming experience
Prior test-driven design experience

Candidates will go through a number of screenings in order to be placed
in this position. This will include:
A brief conversational pre-screen
An hour long pair-programming evaluation prep session with Deloitte
resources
An hour long pair programming full screen conducted by the target
partner company
A full-day, on-site pair programming evaluation
A candidate will have to pass all four screens in order to be offered
the position. At that point, the candidate will undergo extensive
training for the position prior to deployment. Need is ASAP.
