You can reach me at 713-931-9490. *Client: Home Depot* *Role: SOLR Architect* *Duration: Fulltime* *Location : Atlanta, GA* *Job Description:* 10+years of experience A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field is preferred plus experience in Search /SOLR Architect SOLR Specific Skills - Expertise in SOLR Cloud technologies – Collection Sharding/replication, failover, fault tolerance, high availability - Expertise in configuring SOLR schema and understanding in advanced schema fields - Expertise in deciding SOLR commit strategies - Expertise in tuning the relevancy of search results - Strong Hands on skills in SOLR querying and Indexing - Exposure to SOLR Plugin Architecture and hands on skills on plugin development - Expertise in fine tuning SOLR caches and cache warming and segment merging - Exposure to the internal implementations of SOLR/Lucene and understanding of Information Retrieval techniques - Exposure to Cross Data Center Replication and Disaster Recovery - Exposure to SOLR Geo Spatial search - Exposure to setting up Solr Cloud applications in Google Cloud or any other cloud infrastructure General Architect Skills: - Lead team to plan, design, and implement applications and software. - Conduct Code Reviews and proactively identify coding issues and provide code review comments to team members Define coding guidelines and implement unit testing standards to assure the good quality. · Understand and Analyze requirements and enhancement to the system · Perform Impact Analysis of changes to system and its interfacing applications · Consider non-functional requirements and develop a scalable and high performance technical solution · Experience in interpreting customer business needs and translate those needs into requirements · Experience of Retail domain will be an added advantage · Experience working in a fast-paced environment · Define the solution and provide high / low level design specifications for the changes · Evaluate technical solutions, perform proof of concept and identify most optimal solution · Support production releases and ensure successful implementation of changes -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Android Discuss" group.
