*Role : Tableau Developer * *Location : Chesterbrook, PA * *Duration : 6+ Months * *Interview : Phone then Face to Face ( Must be local )* *Job Description: Position Description:* • Design, develop and integrate functional dashboard systems using Tableau Desktop and Server to enable easy interpretation of portfolio status, workflow, and actions. • Exhibit a strong desire to understand the data and components that go into every dashboard. • Understand the business stakeholders’ objectives, the metrics that are the most important to them, and how they measure their performance. • Work closely and collaborate with business partners and leadership to take in business requirements and translate them into technical requirements. • Develop relationships with engineers and peers to determine the correct data sources for a given analysis. • Lead and/or participate in design reviews of prototypes, and applications ready for production. • Maintain existing and developed Tableau code and optimize/streamline informational lining and feeds. • Work with the team to incorporate requests for enhancements and new projects into an agile process. • Suggest opportunities for improvement and identifies alternate solutions. • Work with development and leadership team to define scope, level of effort and timelines for incoming requests. • Establish standard methodologies for data assessment and interpretation across multiple dashboards to ensure consistent information representation. • Develop, maintain and continually enhance a strategy around Tableau Data (TDE) files • Code and maintain complex components of information systems. • Assist and advise in the creation of test plans with QA resources. • Learning from, and sharing knowledge and skills with your teammates to grow BI’s total impact to the organization. *Job Responsibilities* • Extensive experience working with Business Intelligence data visualization tools, optimally with specialization on Tableau versions 9 & 10.x • Demonstrated experience with Tableau Server Infrastructure, specifically publishing and back end administration. • Strong knowledge of best practices for dashboards, BI reporting and visualization. • Experience with data warehousing concepts and data modeling best practices. • Experience with requirements gathering – working with customers to determine analytical needs, and carrying those needs through the development of data-driven tools to facilitate the requirements. • Expertise in the research, development, and support of data visualization techniques. • Strong problem solving and analytical skills. • Strong communication & presentation skills, particularly with clients, team leads and managers. • Comfortable working in a collaborative / team-based approach. *Job Requirement* • Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Computer Science or Business Information Systems with 3-5 years’ experience in configuring, designing and building complex visualizations and dashboards using Tableau. • Subject matter expert of one or more Business Intelligence applications. • Minimum 3 years of experience with Tableau reports development. • Strong Knowledge (5+ years of SQL) and Vertica required • Experience in development of User Interface using Java, .Net technologies is strongly preferred • Experience with multiple Business Intelligence tools preferred. • Proficient understanding of relational database concepts, impact of various designs on performance. • Multi database, multi-language or multi business application preferred. • Strong knowledge of large database optimization practices (indexing, partitioning, etc.) in Hadoop environments. *Neeraj Singh* *TECHNICAL RECRUITER* *VSG* *Business Solutions* *Email ID: **[email protected] <[email protected]>* *Phone:* 302-261-3207 ext 116 -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Android Discuss" group.
