So obviously the TVC will need familiarity with shell scripts to write the
dbay related scripts. Even after the scripts are written I expect some
variance from vendor to vendor based on the number ethernet ports, wifi
radios and supported number of SSIDs.
Familiarity with wireshark and ethernet packets in general is also pretty
important for debugging.
Some background in software automation using tools like *Python* and
*Expect* or others.
And I think for Periodic Statistics we need new command line tools ideally
written in Java or Python or Go. I think preferably Java since that’s what
the current tools are written in so that should be a requirement.
Job Description
Can write shell scripts to validate CPE (i.e. TR-69 routers) on the network
Customize scripts per vendor; ports, wifi radios, SSID packets, etc.
