SCOPE OF SERVICES
Job Summary:
This opening is for a financial and business analyst position to support
State agencies with implementation and reporting of federally funded
programs focused on assisting organizations with overcoming the short-term
and long-term impacts of COVID-19. The candidate will work on a dynamic
team comprised of highly experienced policy and program specialists, data
analysts and highly engaged administration leaders on fast-paced projects

Duties and Responsibilities:
·         Create, update, and analyze project-related financial reporting
·         Utilize existing research and analysis to develop defendable
assumptions and hypotheses
·         Build, maintain and calibrate job aids and project tools to
facilitate effective planning, analysis and decision making
·         Develop and lead presentations or meeting aids for internal and
external stakeholders
·         Develop, set, and utilize analytical frameworks, KPIs, and
applicable metrics and benchmarks to evaluate project performance and to
meet compliance requirements
·         Provide support as needed across all projects / initiatives

THE FOLLOWING EXPERIENCE IS MANDATORY:
·         Minimum 3-5 years of relevant experience in public financial
and/or business analysis;
·         Proven knowledge base/track-record of working in a fast-paced and
dynamic work environment
·         Bachelor’s Degree; MBA a plus
·         Mastery of Excel, with thorough knowledge required to build
comprehensive financial reports and defend & articulate assumptions and
outputs
·         Strong analytical, strategic, and critical thinker who challenges
conventional thinking, finding insights beyond the numbers and story
·         Strong, confident writing ability; possesses ability to
synthesize information into digestible memos, decks, etc
·         Strong self-starter with an entrepreneurial spirit who takes full
responsibility and ownership of tasks
·         Supportive team player who advocates and accelerates the ideas of
others, but is comfortable with providing dissenting opinions in a
respectful manner
·         Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office (particularly Excel
and PowerPoint)
