Greetings, This is an operations Middleware support engineer role
Malvern, PA – Initial remote Must have minimum 5 years of experience in middleware / devOps environment with recent experience on cloud-based technologies. IBM CDC- atleast 3 years STRIIM- 5+YEARS ideally GCP- NOT MUST- Any cloud experience is fine. Primary responsibility is real time data movement- must have 5+ years’ experience ideally in middleware technologies. Kafka and Jenkins Duties: The primary duties and responsibilities of the position is to own Operational activities for Striim and IBM CDC platforms used for real time changes data capture. Position will initially be remote due to COVID but eventually onsite in Malvern office. Conversion to Perm is also open for the position. Skills: • Skilled in Striim operational and admin activities under Google Cloud/Kubernetes env as well as on VM servers. • Skilled in IBM CDC operational tasks and ability to troubleshoot data capture issues • Experience managing container clusters and orchestration tools - Kubernetes, Dockers • Ability to manage deployment for Striim and IBM CDC. • Some exposure to denodo and Kafka preferred. • Good exposure to databases with some admin knowledge. • Able to write Unix scripts to automate DevOps activities as needed. • DevOps tools such as Jenkins, Puppet, Ansible, GitLab • Experience working in CI/CD Pipeline • Exposure to SDLC tools like JIRA, COnfluence, Bit Bucket to perform necessary activities. • Answer questions and support users on systems supported by the applications development group. Education: • Excellent communication skills and a team-player. • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Information Services with 5 or more years of experience.
