No H1b *Expected Duties:* · Own and Drive the capturing of appropriate business and technical requirements and information for the project. · Work within assigned teams, work across teams. · Collaborate with all members of the project including Project Leadership, Business Partners, PM, Architecture, Developers, and QE. · Own and Drive UAT. · Own and Drive PIV (End to End Testing). · Work through challenges of a strong vendor partner. · Other Duties as Assigned. *Project Information: * RBC is looking to hire multiple strong Sr. BA candidates who can step into one of two large programs we are starting up. One project is a Broadridge focused project so experience working with the Vendor as well as their tool is a plus. The other project is a regulatory project looking to capture requirements and enhancements to existing applications to ensure we meet the new regulations. Both projects require working within a team of BA’s. They also require an ability to work on large projects with many business partners, many development teams. *Candidate Skills: * · Local to the Minneapolis, MN market. When we return to office, we expect these candidates to come into the office to be part of our teams. · Strong Sr. BA with at least 9-10 years of experience. We need someone who has seen it all, worked on all kinds of projects with strong technical teams, with strong business partners and can do the work and know how to interact with all of those groups. · Experience working in both Agile and Iterative Waterfall Methodologies. Within each methodology be able to perform the analysis, requirements, and testing responsibilities of the BA. · The technical skills of the BA should include an ability to understand and explore databases, file formats, technical requirements, development issues so the development team sees you as a partner to help work through their technical issues. Understanding those issues will help you write better technical requirements. · Expert skills working with business partners, ask the right questions, get their collaboration and support so you are seen as their advocate to get their message to the development team. You can ask those probing questions and capture those ideas. Have the softskills to work with complicated personalities to complete work tasks. This is a key skill. We are looking for a breadth of skills and experience to do this. Many years of experience, many projects doing this are critical for the successful candidate. · Strong team experience. Has worked on large project teams before. Is comfortable in a collaborative and feedback oriented environment. Will be assigned to one or more workstreams. May have sole BA responsibilities or may have them shared. Ability to share and work together as a team. · Strong leadership and business acumen is desired. This is where the experience comes into play. You know when to step in and take charge of a situation and when to sit back. You take the initiative to help solve problems as they arise. You know how to lead and collaborate to get things done. · Handles ambiguity well. Lots of unknowns about this going in. RBC will figure it out as we go. Need to be flexible and adaptable as more decisions made and more information uncovered. · Five + years of financial services is strongly desired. The pace the projects work at will not leave much time for learning of financial services. Specifically, Trading experience will set apart top candidates and is greatly desired. · RBC BA’s are required to coordinate and lead UAT activities. Business resources are made available to support the effort and make sure all the right tests are identified. BA will need to lead that effort, be able to perform the testing as needed, and then complete the right follow-up to ensure it is completed.
