Please submit qualified candidates asap Client - Cognizant Need Passport number for submission Please share resume at Varun.j@net2source (DOT) com *Position : Sr Data engineer* *Location : Richmond, VA* *Job Description : * *8+ YEARS of experience* *Must Have Skills : AWS, AWS Services, DevOps, Spark, Kubernetes* *Job Description :* Job Summary : - Participate in external forums (seminars paper presentation etc.) to showcase Cognizant capabilities and insights - Interact and engage with customers/ partners around new innovative ideas concepts assets as well as industry trends and implications - Participate in Beta testing of products / joint lab setup with customer to explore application of new technologies / products - Identify areas where components/accelerators or design patterns could be reused across different accounts Roles & Responsibilities : - 8+ years of Programming experience (Data Engineer ) – outside of college experience - 1+ years of strong technical hands on Development Experience with Scala - 3+ Years of experience with relational SQL Any Database. - Exposure to Cloud is added advantage. - Experience with: Python Spark (Nice to have). - Create and maintain optimal data pipeline architecture Assemble large complex data sets that meet functional / non-functional business requirements. - Identify design and implement internal process improvements: automating manual processes optimizing data delivery re-designing infrastructure for greater scalability etc. - Build the infrastructure required for optimal extraction transformation and loading of data from a wide variety of data sources using Scala Scala and AWS technologies. - Build analytics tools that utilize the data pipeline to provide actionable insights into customer acquisition operational efficiency and other key business performance metrics. - Work with stakeholders including the Executive Product Data and Design teams to assist with data-related technical issues and support their data infrastructure needs. - Create data tools for analytics and data scientist team members that assist them in building and optimizing our product into an innovative industry leader.
