TABLEAU/HCM ANALYST SAN JOSE(REMOTE) JOB REQUIREMENTS Essential Functions: Support People and Culture as lead for workforce planning and analysis consultant, providing data driven insights and talent strategies to support the business strategy Design KPIs that support talent strategy and manage regular updates to business leaders to track status against KPIs Drive the evolution of HR metrics to deliver greater value to the company, enabling insights into the workforce; work closely with Business Partners in support of regular business reviews with all levels of executives. Methodically analyze large data sets to distill insights from data and connect disparate ideas into cohesive, well-grounded recommendations using creative, structured and analytical thinking. Create effective, scalable, and easy to understand data solutions for different audiences and levels of engagement. Support the business by providing workforce planning support, support the collection of workforce plans and design cross functional talent strategies Requirements: Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal; ability to convey complex results to non-technical stakeholders in a clear manner Proven planning and organization skills, attention to detail, ability to handle multiple tasks, and work in a fast-paced, time-sensitive, and global environment. Knowledge of statistical and problem solving techniques such as: forecasting, predictive modeling, segmentation analysis, simulation modeling, data mining. Expert knowledge of MS Office, including Excel, PowerPoint and Word Able to build strong partnerships and collaborate with teammates, business leaders, HR clients, and HR application engineers to solve organizational problems and empower organizations with high quality data and analysis Experience with additional workforce insight and reporting tools such as, Tableau, Visier, SuccessFactor, ETC. Responsibility: Operate as the lead analytics and planning partner for Zscalers People and Culture Organization. This individual will apply attained experiences and knowledge in solving problems that are complex in scope requiring in-depth evaluation. Demonstrate good judgment in solving problems as well as identifying problems in advance, and proposing solutions. Manage and maintain relationships with senior business leaders. Develop, monitor and report on analytic and talent strategies on an ad hoc or routine basis. Education Bachelor of Science, Arts, or Engineering Degree is required or equivalent experience Minimum 5 years of experience required Hands-on experience with HCM systems and associated data structures, particularly SAP SuccessFactors, PeopleSoft and data marts/warehouses Expertise with data visualization (e.g., tables, charts, graphs) via tools like Tableau Knowledge and experience in implementation of best practices in the reporting space for both systems and processes/metrics SaaS and working with cloud vendors for support Demonstrate analytical and problem-solving skills, and experience applying these skills within complex programs to address business and reporting requirements
