Position: Senior Java Developer Location: Pasadena, CA (Onsite) Duration: 12+ month's contract Skills: Java, AWS, API, SQL, Hibernate, Spring Job Description: Experience: 10+ Years Candidate needs to be an expert in Java/J2EE, Web services, Restful APIs, SQL/PLSQLs with 10+/5+ yrs of experience. Should be familiar with AWS server less and RDS technologies. Candidate must have experience in database like Oracle, Postgres. Hands-on role designing, developing, debugging, and deploying software solutions. Good to have experience in tools like Bit bucket, Jenkins, JIRA. Candidate will work closely with team to deliver key initiatives. Day will start with scrum calls to prioritize and track work. Candidate will be assigned user stories to work within a sprint cycle. Usually candidate will spend most of day designing, developing and testing code. Every two weeks, candidate will be involved in the release activities. Candidate will work with product managers, architects, software engineers, and more to plan, design, develop, test, and implement impactful solutions. Requirement: 10+/5+ years relevant experience in similar technology (does not include training period), Min Education - Bachelors degree in technology Expert knowledge of Java 8 (Scala desirable), JVM ecosystem, memory model, tuning, threading, reactive streams, modularization Experience with AWS Cloud, AWS Lambda and AWS RDS Expert knowledge of Spring ecosystem (Spring Boot, Spring Cloud, Spring Integration, Spring Cloud Data Flow etc) Expert knowledge of REST API design and implementation Education: Bachelor's degree in related field or equivalent experience.
