- B.S. or higher in a quantitative, healthcare, or economic discipline
- Advanced skills in *data management*
- Experience working with *large datasets* (*Experience using the Python
programming language for data is a plus)*
- Knowledge of *healthcare administrative and claims data*
- Extensive experience with the universe of* part A and B Medicare
claims data*
- Knowledge of* Medicare payment systems and claims billing is a plus*
- Specifically detailed understanding of the* Claim and Claim Line
Feed (CCLF) dataset,* including but not limited to:
- subject matter expertise of the underlying claim information
- strong knowledge of the *final action algorithm, *using the natural
key to group claims associated with a single event: reducing the
original,
cancelled and amended claims to a grouping of patient level events
- Experience with bundled payment programs or other value-based payment
frameworks is a plus
