Position: WCS Lead Location: El Segundo, CA 90245 - Initial Remote Duration: 1+ Year JD:- Mandatory Skills:- WCS, Shopify Overall 10 years of experience with 7 to 8 years of expertise in WebSphere Commerce. Hands on experience in WCS 7.x, WCS 6.x versions and BOD framework Strong Design and implementation experience in WebSphere Commerce v7.x Strong understanding of WebSphere commerce application architecture and able to provide right design decisions Experience exposing REST APIs for Commerce capabilities Experience in Integrating, designing and developing custom solutions within WebSphere Commerce Hands-on experience with utilizing various sub systems of WebSphere Commerce Server (Catalog, Order, Member, Payment) Experience in working on different Business models of commerce (B2B, B2C, Extended sites) Strong Java development experience Database Programming Skill End-to-end experience in software development life-cycle and familiar with agile methodologies Executed at least 2 WCS end-to-end implementation Technical leadership skills for managing a track of work and defining a comprehensive solution leading toward a common vision Ability to abstract detail into larger (repeatable) patterns, familiarity with user-centered analysis and evaluation techniques Experience with organization structures, LDAP integrations, user and account management (B2B and B2C) Creating, extending CSR (Customer Service Representative) flows allowing them to create organizations, registrations, transaction on behalf of customer using Out of the box implementations and customizations Experience with B2B trading and contract models Experience working with front end JavaScript development technologies Experience with SOAP and REST Integration Roles and Responsibilities: Design, Plan and implement solutions in eco system which consist Extended sites model involving B2B and B2C business models Work with the agile team on grooming the backlog and coming up with technical tasks for the stories Anticipate issues and risks at the module level and escalate appropriately Ability to interact with the product owner and scrum master to understand and propose out-of-box capabilities and possible extensions to the framework Leadership & Communication: Ability to work well with different staff levels within and out of core competency. Ability to translate high technical solutions/problems to audiences at varying technical levels. Strong ability to prepare and present technical documentation. Desirable - Shopify with at least 2 implementation . Develop and implement new Features/ Pages within the Shopify platform . Managing/developing custom implementations of various Shopify apps; both frontend and backend . The technical development and supporting the Shopify ecommerce websites including configuring and managing various ecommerce systems to ensure continual operation and sales. . Coordinating with internal teams to assist them in supporting customers with order and subscription amendments, investigating and solving technical problems that arise. . Designing and implementing new website features and making improvements to existing website features. . Updating the ecommerce catalogue and feeds including adding new products, configuring product bundles, creating discount codes & promotions. . Monitoring, testing, diagnosing and fixing issues reported to ensure smooth operations for all customers. .
