Understands Salesforce.com ecosystem and platform, including Salesforce Lightning . Familiar with the usage and implementation of 3rd party app exchange CPQ providers such as Apptus, Salesforce CPQ, or PROS . Full competency in MS Excel and / or Access . Experience presenting technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders . Experienced with importing / exporting / cleaning data using different API and data management tools . Experience doing data analysis on commercial data from multiple sources . Demonstrated ability to translate complex technical topics to business management and users . Solid understanding of system design and development . Experience working in a regulated environment . Self-motivated problem solver . Effective written and verbal communication skills . Experience managing projects in agile or waterfall project methodology . Experience coding in Apex, XML and / or JavaScript Experience Required 3+ years' experience as an administrator or business analyst in the following: CPQ platform administration (PROS, Apptus, Salesforce CPQ, etc.) in concert with Salesforce.com platform administration Roles & Responsibilities Daily Activities: . Day to day administration of the CPQ PROS platform, Salesforce.com platform, including first line triage of related end user tickets / incidents . New user configuration, user deactivation . Product catalog maintenance . Quote approval routing updates . Configuration of guided selling and selling pathways . Updates to PROS quote templates . Vendor relations on incident resolution / releases with PROS . New project work in the CPQ area of practice . Document business requirements on new / changes to existing functionality . Create test plans and validation plans . Design, propose and document Enterprise Change Requests (ECR's) . Define, document and coordinate ECR testing requirements . Advise business team members on business process options . Analyze complex issues and present them in easy-to-read process/data flows . Document and trains others on IT solutions and data designs Responsibilities: . Engages with business leaders to understand how strategies and data-driven changes can improve efficiencies and add value. . Work with data sets to define use cases to improve products, processes and/or services. . Collaborates with Business Relationship Manager (BRM), business stakeholders and IT Product Owners / Managers to develop business requirements for product or system changes. .
