*Activities to be performed by Teradata DBA* - Support Teradata Major software upgrade across customer ecosystem. Validate, if any additional upgrades required across BAR, Viewpoint or SWS Servers as pre-requisite work. Collaborate with TD change control, project team and internal AM team. Perform software staging & perform Teradata upgrade baseline and prep. work. Validate DBS Control, FSG Caching & AWT Configuration Perform Reserved Word, BC Startup String, Identify Journals, Orphan Access & Rights, DBC Statistics Validations & Syslib validation Capture Stats baseline and post upgrade validation for each environment upgrade including system library functions usage Document the activity with a SNOW CHANGE and get it approved. Baseline the Queries performance. *Oracle developer* *Location:- Must be onsite 3 days/month* *starting in January (Merrimack NH, Boston MA, Raleigh NC, Westlake TX, Jersey City NJ, Smithfield RI)* *Type (Contract):- 12+ month contract* Must Haves: 8+ years of Data Engineering experience 5+ years of strong experience with Oracle SQL & PL/SQL solutions Experience in a database migration project (preferably from on prem to Azure cloud) Experience with Snowflake for data warehouse for analytics and reporting & API integration Strong experience with Azure cloud Excellent data analysis and debugging skills with a focus on identifying data quality issues.
