*9-12 Months* *Job Description:* The Technical Data Analyst plays a crucial role in extracting, analyzing, and interpreting complex data to provide actionable insights that drive informed decision-making within the organization. This role requires a blend of technical expertise, analytical skills, and business acumen to effectively translate data into meaningful information. The Technical Data Analyst collaborates with cross-functional teams to identify data-driven solutions, optimize processes, and improve overall operational efficiency. *Responsibilities:* Data Collection and Processing: Acquire and gather data from various sources, ensuring data accuracy and integrity. Develop and maintain data pipelines for efficient data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) processes. Perform data cleansing, transformation, and normalization to make data suitable for analysis. Data Analysis: Apply statistical and data analysis techniques to identify patterns, trends, correlations, and anomalies in large datasets. Utilize advanced analytical tools and programming languages (e.g., Python, R, SQL) to conduct exploratory data analysis. Develop and implement data models to support predictive and prescriptive analytics. Data Visualization: Create clear and informative visualizations (charts, graphs, dashboards) to present insights to non-technical stakeholders. Develop interactive dashboards and reports using data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) to facilitate data-driven decision-making. Insight Generation: Interpret complex data to generate actionable insights and recommendations for business improvement. Collaborate with business stakeholders to define key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics relevant to the organization's goals. Performance Monitoring: Monitor and track key metrics to identify trends and deviations from established targets. Proactively communicate insights to relevant teams, contributing to continuous improvement initiatives. Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with teams across departments to understand their data needs and provide analytical support. Collaborate with data engineers, data scientists, and business analysts to develop comprehensive solutions. Data Governance and Quality: Participate in data quality assessment and improvement efforts, ensuring data consistency and accuracy. Adhere to data privacy and compliance standards, maintaining data security and confidentiality. Documentation: Document data analysis methodologies, assumptions, and findings to facilitate knowledge sharing and reproducibility. Qualifications: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Information Systems, or a related field. Proficiency in programming languages such as Python or R for data analysis. Strong SQL skills for data querying and manipulation. Experience with data visualization tools like Tableau, Power BI, or similar. Familiarity with data manipulation and analysis libraries (e.g., pandas, NumPy, scikit-learn) is a plus. Knowledge of statistical concepts and techniques. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
