Here is the job description, please reach out to me if you are interested. *Client : AMEX * *Job Title: Data Analyst* *Location: New York City, New York (day 1 onsite, hybrid)* *Duration: Long term contract * *Key Responsibilities: * Data Governance in compliance with the Enterprise Data Governance Policy ensuring the appropriate accountability model and processes for data asset management, metadata management, data quality, and issue resolution. Deliver data quality scorecards, dashboards, analytical reports, and attestation packages for all processes in scope. Provide insight into the root-cause-analysis of data quality issues and assist in remediation of Audit and Regulatory feedback. Recommending strategic improvements to the data assessment process and making necessary enhancements to data analytical and data quality tools. Continuing to support our current Regulatory Reporting needs via existing platforms working with our upstream data providers, downstream business partners, as well as technologies. *Qualifications* 5-7 years of experience in Finance and Controllership strongly preferred. Ability to interact and understand the needs of the Finance business partners and translate their business requirements into Agile based artifacts for tech development purposes Prior experience of managing and working on BI reporting tool ( Tableau, TM1, PowerBI) is strongly preferred Strong relationship skills and communication is essential Ability to understand systems and controls is a plus. Self-motivated and proactive, ability to manage multiple assignments and projects concurrently in a fast paced environment Strong excel and other technical skills, prior experience with SQL is a strong plus. Demonstrated ability to collect business requirements and use them to guide implementation of a technical solution. Prior experience in defining and implementing data governance and data quality programs is preferred.
