Cupcake is a slightly delayed mirror of Google's internal repository
(and since it's a mirror we don't accept patches there).

Master contains everything that cupcake has, plus all the patches that
were accepted directly into the Android Open-Source Project, so it's a
bit more advanced (identical in some areas, a fair bit different in
others).

Because cupcake mirrors Google's repository, it is likely to be a bit
more tricky than master to get to build in a number of environments,
since Google uses a narrow range of configurations.
