@hide is probably an android annotation used to hide methods from the
public SDK. If I wanted to use one of these methods, would I go
uncomment this, recompile the SDK, and use it?

I noticed that there are internal apps that do use these hidden
methods. How are they able to do it?

If I don't care about incompatibility, is it possible to use them w/
out recompiling the SDK?
