The mediascanner should recognize a 3GPP file with AMR-WB audio. I'll
try to find some time to verify that - I'm pretty sure that I have a
test file for that. If you have a sample file that fails, it would be
good to post a link to it so the Packet Video team can look at it.

I don't think OpenCore supports MP3 inside MP4 file - maybe PV
engineers can confirm.

OpenCore 2.0 has been released in the master branch.
