I am seeking solution to make Google Gears enabled pages work on
WebView.

Currently, based on my testing the Google Gears works fine on the
Browser and not in my WebView application. I heard from the android-
developers group that Gears in not supported on WebView.

>From my viewpoint, they are suppose to be the same component (webkit)
internally used by the browser application versus custom WebView
application, other than something custom WebView application missing
to do like include the gears plugin or enable some settings.

So these are the questions I have:

- Is there any documentation/spec which distinguishes difference
between WebView and Browser application, if documentation not there
can anyone just give a 2 to 3 line juice of matter ?

- Where do I find the browser plugins which the browser application
using in the file explorer, and Can I invoke gears plugin (which I
assuming in the platform somewhere) in my WebView application ?

- Is there any tips around get my WebView application support Gears
enabled pages ?

Thank you for you time.
