I did not have enough time to explore this. It has probably something
to do with android process management. It could be that MAX_PROCESSES
is used only as fallback mechanism and on G1 the processes are managed
another way. Btw with the very first Sean's kernel that was based on
2.6.24 the Picture app was running even without tweaking MAX_PROCESSES
variable (and on the same rootfs it's crashing with 2.6.28).
I will try to find out what exactly is going on.
Where I can take a look to the G1 code?
