I just installed the beta-3 kernel/rootfs which has my YGPS
Satellites installed by default, which is nice. However, I was just
trying to install an upgrade to it, and I get a
INSTALL_FAILED_REPLACE_COULDNT_DELETE, because it is a system app. I
cannot uninstall it via the PackageManager either and mounting rootfs
as rw does not help either. Is there a trick somewhere to
uninstall/reinstall system apps? (As a workaround I can just use a
 different package of course).

Hi,
i cant check for now, but the problem may be in rootfs.
There are 2 directories used for installing apps:

/system/app
/data/app

Maybe if the YGPS.apk is placed to /data/app instead of
/system/app it would be possible to reinstall it.

Unfortunately i cant verify this now.
