The idea is that you hack one android source file, maybe it can be
used by other phone in the
feauture. Having a static table inside the code is maybe
freerunner-specific.

As i am thinking about it, it's quite generic even for other
phones. Let me explain why:
If your phone has 6 or more HW keys, then this patch
is not needed.
If your phone has less then 6 keys then you can just
do the same mapping as we have now on Freerunner.
Because we are in the patch working with keycodes
it's not problem at all - just edit the *.kl files in
vendor/yourphone.
I think the first patch should go to official Android
because it's generally useful. No idea if there is chance
to cleanup and get included the second one, because
it adds complexity to workaround missing hardware.
